Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet community situated in The West Island of Montreal is what you might call a "sleepy" area. A lot of people who aren't aware of they mistakenly believe the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It is actually it is the West Island includes everything westward of the city of Lachine. This led to an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship at York University where she attended the Theatre Program which she graduated with the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2000. In the past 20 years, Brugel's work has been seen on the small and large screen. The most notable was her attention when she won her role as Rita in the acclaimed television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel made an appearance on only a handful of occasions in the first season of the series The Handmaid's tale. She was the sole Canadian participant.
